Astana Hub IT Park Uzbekistan, together with Silkroad Innovation Hub and Alchemist Accelerator, with the support of the ministries of digital development of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and venture funds, has announced the launch of the second phase of the AlchemistX & Silicon Valley Residency Program. This initiative provides startups from Central Eurasian countries with an opportunity to quickly enter the US market and build strategic partnerships with key players in the global technology industry.
Startups can register until July 11, 2025. Program participants will join a four-month intensive training period in one of the world's leading innovation environments. The program offers opportunities such as individual mentoring, industry-specific events, practical sessions on entering the US market, and a final Demo Day attended by influential investors.
Tanat Uskembayev, Executive Director of Astana Hub, said that the results of the first phase proved that Central Eurasian startups can not only learn from Silicon Valley, but also become part of it: “After the first phase, 22 teams have attracted a total of $1.4 million in investments and signed commercial contracts worth $380,000. Their projected revenue for 2025 is $17 million. These figures show not only the potential of the region, but also how effective properly structured acceleration programs are in scaling real business solutions. Graduates enter the US market, sign long-term contracts and continue to grow after the program ends — this is exactly what we aimed for.”
Those wishing to participate in the program must speak English at a working level, be physically present in the US during the program period, and have startups registered in Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan (with residency in Astana Hub, AIFC or IT Park Uzbekistan). This year, the AlchemistX program is open only to startups from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, while the Silicon Valley Residency Program is also available to other promising teams from Central Eurasian countries on a competitive basis.
