Figma has introduced a new artificial intelligence agent for users. Currently in beta, the agent is integrated directly into the Figma Design workspace and helps designers create, edit, and optimize mockups. The new tool can generate screens and interfaces based on text queries, make changes to the design system, update components, and remove the background of images.
The agent can also automatically convert designs to dark mode, apply the same changes to different screens, and analyze user feedback by grouping them. The system will be available in stages only for paid Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plan users for now. The company announced that in the future, animation, prototyping, and data collection functions will be added to the agent.
