Google's co-founder Larry Page is establishing a new artificial intelligence (AI) startup. This new company, called Dynatomics, aims to integrate AI into product manufacturing. Page is working on this project with a small team of engineers, focusing on creating highly optimized designs for objects and enabling factories to produce them.
The project is led by Chris Anderson, who previously served as the Chief Technology Officer at Kittyhawk, an electric airplane company backed by Page.
Larry Page is not the only entrepreneur exploring ways to enhance manufacturing processes with AI. For instance, Orbital Materials is developing an AI platform to discover new materials, including batteries and carbon dioxide-capturing cells. Another company, PhysicsX, provides tools for engineers to run simulations in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and materials science. Additionally, Instrumental utilizes vision-based AI technology to detect factory defects and anomalies, helping improve manufacturing efficiency.
