In December 2025, Israeli startups raised a total of $1.6 billion in funding across 22 investment rounds, marking the highest monthly venture capital investment for the country since 2022.
The growth was driven by large-scale investments in startups in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Data security startup Cyera raised $400 million in a Blackstone-led round, raising its valuation to $9 billion.
Startup Eon raised $300 million in a Series D round, valuing it at $4 billion. The startup has raised more than $500 million in total funding over the past year.
Other notable deals in the cybersecurity space include Vega’s $120 million Series B (valuing it at $700 million) and 7AI’s $130 million Series A. Zafran doubled its value after raising $60 million, while Act Security completed a $40 million Series A just four months after its seed round.
Healthcare startup Syremis raised $165 million to treat schizophrenia and other severe mental illnesses.
