Japan is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan and share decarbonization experience.
Shimizu Hayato, the mayor of Saitama, Japan, informed about this in his statement to "Report".
"Urban governance is equally important in combating the effects of climate change. We would be very happy to cooperate with Azerbaijani cities in this matter," he stressed.
S. Hayato noted that he was satisfied with the level of organization of the COP29 conference held in Baku and expected that important agreements would be signed within the framework of this global summit: "We have goals in the field of decarbonization for the years 2030-2050. We expect to be able to reach agreements to reach these goals."
