Replit received $400 million in investment

Replit, an online programming platform for coding, has raised $400 million. The new round of investment values the company at $9 billion. For comparison, in September 2025, investors valued the company at about three times less — $3 billion.

Amjad Masad, CEO of the company, said that the investment round was attended by investors such as Accenture, Databricks, Okta, Georgian and G Squared. According to him, the new funds will be used to expand the company's activities and develop artificial intelligence systems based on human creativity.

When announcing the investment, Replit also introduced a new artificial intelligence agent called Agent 4. According to the company, this tool is designed to allow users to spend more time on creativity, not technical coordination, and can perform both complex and routine programming tasks.

Replit is an online programming environment that works with artificial intelligence assistants. The platform has a free version with limited features, while paid subscription plans start at $20 per month. According to the company, the service has more than 50 million users and is used by approximately 85% of Fortune 500 companies.
