According to an internal company document, the company is developing an “AI pendant” that will be hung around the neck and act as a voice-activated AI assistant. The device is intended to provide more personalized services by continuously communicating with users.
Meta is also reportedly expanding its activities in the field of smart glasses and other wearable technologies. The company is trying to develop an ecosystem of AI-based devices at a time when competition is intensifying with OpenAI, Google and Apple.
Although the launch date of the new product has not been announced, Meta is said to be accelerating its plans to integrate artificial intelligence more deeply into everyday life.
