MrBeast, one of the largest content creators on YouTube, is looking for several hundred million dollars in investment with a $5 billion valuation for his video production company and food ventures. He has started discussions with various financial institutions and investors, though the talks are still in the early stages and no final decisions on the investors have been made.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is best known for his large-budget competitions, donation videos, and concept content, making him one of YouTube's most popular creators. In addition to his YouTube career, he is also the founder of MrBeast Burger, a restaurant chain, and Feastables, a chocolate brand.
Previously, MrBeast received investment from the New York-based alternative asset management firm Alpha Wave Global. With this new round of investment, he aims to grow both his media and food businesses further.
