Notion, a note-taking and project management service, has launched Notion Calendar, a standalone calendar application.
Users can add deadlines, tasks, notes and documents to projects and integrate it with the Notion workspace to quickly set up recurring meetings. However, Calendar Notion can also be used separately.
The application supports integration with Google Calendar, Google Meet and Zoom. They plan to add support for other services in the future.
Notion Calendar is available on Windows, macOS, iOS, and in-browser Android devices in development. As The Verge and TechCrucn point out, the program relies on Cron.
Cron is a new generation calendar used in various operating systems. They use Cron to schedule tasks to be done at specific times or intervals. Also, this calendar is often used by companies to perform repetitive tasks.
Last year, Notion bought Cron.
