OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Anthropic have joined forces to establish unified standards for the development and deployment of artificial intelligence models.
The primary goal of this new alliance is to simplify the integration of neural networks into external applications and to streamline the training process for new specialists. At the same time, the fully open nature of the upcoming standards will help prevent any single company from gaining a monopolistic position in the AI sector.
Google, Microsoft, and Amazon are serving as co-founders of the foundation. Anthropic has contributed its neural-network integration protocol for enterprise clients, while OpenAI has released its “AGENTS.md” documentation required for AI fine-tuning. Additionally, the startup Block has introduced its “goose” framework, which enables the creation of locally running AI assistants directly on user devices.
Leadership of the foundation has been assumed by the Linux Foundation, which will act as a neutral platform to ensure transparency, protect the interests of all parties, and oversee the development of future standards.
