"OpenAI" Signs New Partnerships in Asia

OpenAI has announced a partnership with South Korea's prominent technology company, Kakao, which leads the popular messaging app KakaoTalk. This collaboration will help OpenAI further expand its presence in Asia.

The partnership includes three major projects: the creation of a new assistant program called “Kanana” in the Korean language, the integration of OpenAI technology into KakaoTalk, and Kakao making OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise available to its employees.

Additionally, SoftBank has revealed that it has signed a deal with OpenAI. SoftBank will use OpenAI's technologies and establish a joint venture called “SB OpenAI Japan” to develop specialized AI solutions with Japan. SoftBank is reportedly investing 3 billion dollars into OpenAI.

Through these partnerships, OpenAI aims to enhance its visibility in the Asian markets and learn about the language and user behaviors of these regions. This will allow it to connect with more people and expand its market reach.

Furthermore, SoftBank plans to work on more projects with OpenAI and continue investing, which will strengthen OpenAI's position even further.
