Salesforce has announced its next-generation artificial intelligence platform, Agentforce 360, at a time when competition in the AI agents market is intensifying. With this launch, the company has sent a strong message to rivals such as Google, Microsoft, and Anthropic ahead of its Dreamforce conference, which begins on October 14.
One of the most notable features of the new Agentforce 360 platform is a routing tool called Agent Script. Entering beta in November, this tool will allow users to manage AI agents through “if/then” logic-based flows, ensuring that agents operate in a more predictable and controlled manner.
Additionally, Salesforce introduced Agentforce Builder, a development environment that enables users to create, test, train, and deploy AI agents from a unified platform.
The company is also repositioning Slack not merely as a messaging app but as an AI-powered workplace platform. The new Agentforce modules for Sales, IT, and HR will be available within Slack starting this month, with deeper integration planned by early 2026. Slackbot will evolve into a personalized AI assistant that learns from user behavior and transforms the platform into a search and knowledge hub capable of pulling data from services such as Gmail, Outlook, and Dropbox.
It’s worth noting that in the competitive enterprise AI market, Google recently launched its Gemini Enterprise platform and began collaborating with companies like Figma and Klarna. Meanwhile, Anthropic has partnered with global firms such as Deloitte through its Claude Enterprise product. Salesforce revealed that the initial version of Agentforce has already reached 12,000 corporate customers, underscoring the company’s strong market ambitions.
Agentforce 360 is seen as a key part of Salesforce’s broader strategy to make AI not just a feature but a core infrastructure integrated across all its products.
