Samsung presented a microLED model without a frame and a panel thickness of 1 cm. According to the journalists, when looking at the screen, there is a feeling that the image "seems to be flying in the air".
Samsung representatives said that the increased brightness and pixel density of transparent microLED displays distinguish them from transparent OLED panels. In particular, the image on such displays becomes richer and clearer under intense lighting conditions.
Samsung has not yet shared the technical details. The possible price of such a screen is also unknown.
