To facilitate the provision of digital government services via a unified platform, the scope of the Ministry of Justice’s notarial services available on "mygov" has been expanded.
Citizens can now use the "Issuance of a power of attorney for the disposition of real estate" service on "mygov" to delegate authority regarding real estate to another person. This includes delegating powers for the alienation, mortgaging, and other disposition-related transactions concerning the property.
The "Application for the disposition of real estate" service enables the formalization—in electronic format—of the property owner's consent to transfer specific rights and powers regarding the real estate to another person.
Additionally, through the "Application for registration at a residential address" service, a property owner can electronically confirm their consent on "mygov" for other individuals to be registered at that address. Furthermore, through the "Issuance of a Power of Attorney for Inheritance Matters" service, citizens can electronically authorize another person to gather documents related to inheritance cases and formalize the inheritance of property.
Two additional services enabling the electronic processing of various types of applications have also been integrated into the "mygov" platform.
Through the "Free-form Application" service, citizens can submit requests regarding types of applications not covered by standard notarized application categories on "mygov." To do this, the user first selects the recipient institution, then uploads the application text and necessary documents to the system. Once the accuracy of the information is confirmed and the payment process is completed, the application is submitted electronically.
Citizens can electronically withdraw a previously submitted application using the "Application Withdrawal" service. To do so, the user selects the application to be withdrawn, specifies the reason for withdrawal, and verifies the accuracy of the information. After all stages are completed, the request is electronically sent to the relevant institution. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the Protection of Public Health," the service for "Issuance of a Power of Attorney for Obtaining Medicines"—which enables a person authorized by a citizen to collect free or subsidized medications—has been integrated into the "mygov" platform. As part of the service, the system first verifies the citizen's eligibility to receive subsidized medicines and then confirms the accuracy of their personal information. Once the payment stage is complete, the application is submitted electronically.
Applications regarding all the aforementioned services are formalized through notarization procedures.
Citizens can access these services via both the my.gov.az portal and the "mygov" mobile application.
