OBA Markets, the country's largest retail chain, has launched the "SID - Your Idea is Supported" project to contribute to the innovation ecosystem. The project will operate as an open platform for both company employees and foreign talents.
The initiative, whose name comes from the concept of "seed", symbolizes the fact that every idea grows in the right environment and becomes a reality.
The main directions of the project:
OBA Intrapreneurship - company employees will be able to present their innovative ideas to make their daily work processes more efficient and bring them to the prototype stage with the support of a mentor.
Innovative Solutions Marathon - startups, young professionals and creative individuals will have the opportunity to develop their projects by proposing solutions to real business problems.
Registration for the Innovative Solutions Marathon is currently ongoing. This year, the theme of the marathon has been chosen as "Customer Satisfaction". The competition will cover all stages from the initial presentation of ideas to the preparation of MVP and will provide participants with mentor support, new knowledge and partnership opportunities. The total prize fund of the marathon is 10,000 AZN.
It should be noted that OBA LLC has been operating since 2016 and currently serves the country with more than 1,600 stores and nearly 10,000 employees.
