The First Phase of the ecomX E-Commerce Program, Held for the First Time in Azerbaijan, Has Successfully Completed

The first phase of the ecomX e-commerce training and incubation program, which was organized for the first time in Azerbaijan and lasted for 3 months, has been successfully completed. Within the framework of the program, more than 180 participants from Baku, Ganja, Sumgayit and Lankaran cities gained practical knowledge and skills from local and international trainers specializing in the field of e-commerce. During the training sessions, participants were taught product selection, creation and management of online stores, digital marketing strategies, as well as ways to grow and expand e-commerce businesses.
The program, not only providing knowledge transfer, played an effective platform for participants to transition to real business.
One of the main goals of the project was to provide citizens living in the regions with e-commerce skills, strengthen integration into the digital economy and contribute to the creation of new jobs. A total of 36 hours of online training and 12 live trainings were held within the program. Participants who successfully completed the training were presented with special certificates registered with blockchain technology for the first time in Azerbaijan.
In the next stage, selected participants from among the ideas with high potential will be invited to the ecomX incubation program. At this stage, support will be provided for the development of 16-20 e-commerce projects. During the three-month incubation period, a prize fund of 30,000 AZN will be distributed among the owners of the most successful projects. The ecomX program is organized by the Azerbaijan E-Commerce Union, supported by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, and implemented in partnership with SUP VC and BONPARA companies. EcomX is becoming an important platform serving the formation of a new generation of entrepreneurs in the field of e-commerce in Azerbaijan and the strengthening of the country's digital economy.
