The New Wave of Artificial Intelligence: The Future Has Already Begun

In Silicon Valley, stretching from San Francisco to San Jose, there is only one topic in the air: Artificial Intelligence. Every meetup, every event, every hackathon speaks a common language – the language of Artificial Intelligence. Young people write code, startups share their ideas, and investors wait to discover the next revolutionary technology. It is not just a technology – it is a movement, a state of mind, a belief in the future.

Those who follow the predictions and comments I share on Linkedin know well that I have long emphasized that artificial intelligence (AI) will have a huge impact on all areas. This technology is developing rapidly and is causing changes on a scale unprecedented in history. How does AI technology process and store so much information during this rapid change? This question has become even more relevant these days.

Artificial intelligence is no longer dependent only on centralized cloud systems. AI technology works “on the edge”, that is, in places close to devices, allowing companies to make faster decisions and be more efficient. This is causing revolutionary changes in industries and giving companies a chance to be more innovative and competitive.

Agentic AI – New Leadership Technology

A new concept, Agentic AI, involves AI agents that enable companies to make agile decisions and work faster. According to Gartner, by 2028, 33% of company applications will use this type of AI agents, and these agents will be able to make 15% of daily decisions themselves. This technology has already been declared the most important technological trend of 2025. The Artificial Intelligence Strategy prepared for 2025–2028 will give a serious impetus to the digital transformation in our country.

The innovations brought by artificial intelligence have already been taken into account in the new development strategy of digital products in our portfolio (mygov, Digital Bridge and Digital Login). This is not just a technological innovation — it means a real change in the quality of services we provide to citizens.

This transformation is not just a “next phase,” it’s a whole new way of thinking: services are becoming more proactive, more transparent, and more human-centric. Artificial intelligence is at the heart of this process, shaping our products for the future.

The Speed of Change

Just 18 months ago, generative AI and big language models were on the agenda. Today, they are the norm. AI has moved beyond the research stage and is being applied in real-world applications, and is starting to have a major impact, like the internet. The key difference is that AI is increasingly operating in decentralized systems, on or near devices. For example, the phrase “Built for Apple Intelligence” is used to describe products or services that are built with Apple’s AI and machine learning technologies in mind. This means that the product is powered by the AI capabilities of Apple’s own ecosystem (e.g., iOS, macOS, watchOS, etc.) or is specifically tailored to Apple’s AI technologies.

This rapid expansion is transforming many industries. Companies are now implementing AI not just as a theoretical strategy, but as a real tool in their daily workflows. By the end of 2025, AI is expected to become a key business tool in all areas – from finance to engineering.

Of course, these changes are not without challenges. If traditional and inflexible structures are not ready for such rapid transformation, they risk being left behind. But my experience shows that teams that adopt an agile approach, make quick decisions and are not afraid to experiment will be ahead in this new era. Here I am reminded of a saying that my friend Mammad Karim often says: 'If you have not been embarrassed by launching an MVP on the market, then you have launched it too late.'

We were even discussing traditional investment approaches with him recently. Once upon a time, investors primarily paid attention to the team, its experience and leadership skills. This is still important, but now it seems that you and... your AI agent are taking center stage.

In other words, investors no longer only ask "who is on the team?" They ask:
"How smart is your AI agent?", "How does your product evolve with AI?", "What decisions can the agent make in real time?"

This radical shift shows that not only the technology has changed, but also the trust and value creation model.

This explains a lot in the world of innovation. That is, try, learn, and rebuild quickly, rather than waiting for the idea to be perfect. This mindset will be essential for success in the new era.
