The number of applications from Azerbaijani users to artificial intelligence courses on "Coursera" has increased 7 times

According to Coursera's "2024 Global Skills Report", the number of users from Azerbaijan on the platform is 158,000. Within a year, the interest of Azerbaijani users in artificial intelligence courses on the platform increased 7 times.
During the reporting period, the number of women using Coursera increased from 43% to 46% worldwide. This indicator is 47% for Azerbaijan.
The document emphasizes that interest in content in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation and automation has increased significantly. It shows how users are actively preparing for the possible impact of AI on their careers.
With more than 148 million users, the Coursera platform offers online courses and training from more than 300 of the world's leading universities and leading technology companies.
Currently, the "4Sİ Academy" project, which is implemented by 4SIM under the Ministry of Science and Education, jointly with the Education Development Fund and the US company Coursera, and which provides free access to the platform to 10,000 citizens, continues.
