During the first seven months of this year, a total of 419,271 tickets were purchased online through the “biletim.az” portal. This figure is twice as much compared to the same period in 2024.
In January–July of last year, advance ticket sales accounted for 17.5% of total sales, while in the corresponding period this year, this number increased to 32.4%. This indicates growing passenger confidence in bus station services and a stronger preference for buying tickets online when planning their trips.
It should be noted that on the “biletim.az” portal, tickets can be purchased for 51 cities and regions across 82 routes. The system is connected to 376 vehicles operating on 330 routes. The online ticket sales system will gradually cover all carriers and bus stations providing passenger transportation services.
Citizens are encouraged to purchase tickets online via the “biletim.az” portal to reach their destinations more comfortably and safely.
It is also worth noting that when purchasing tickets to territories liberated from occupation through the “biletim.az” portal or mobile app, Azerbaijani citizens are automatically granted the necessary permits for entry.
