The number of scooters for rent in Baku has increased. According to the 2025 report of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), the number of scooters in the capital has increased by 31 percent compared to the previous year.
The report states that in 2024, there were 3,873 scooters operating in Baku, while in 2025 this number reached 5,066. The figures indicate that interest in micromobility is growing in the capital and alternative means of transport are being used more widely.
According to the AYNA, the increase in the number of scooters contributes to the facilitation of short-distance movement within the city and a partial reduction in the transport load.
