OnePlus has postponed the launch of its new OnePlus Watch 3 smart watch for over a month. The reason for the delay is a printing error on the back of the device.
The watch was initially planned to be released this month, but early reviews revealed that instead of the "Made in China" label, the back of the watch read "Meda in China." Due to this mistake, OnePlus has decided to delay the release of the watch until April 2025.
The company initially offered customers the option to return the watch or keep the incorrect version as a unique collector's item. However, it later announced that a new batch would be produced to correct the error, and the launch date would be adjusted.
According to OnePlus, the new release of the watch is set for April. While the exact date has not been specified, the pre-order page for the U.S. indicates that priority shipping will be available on April 15, with standard shipping on April 16. OnePlus will keep pre-orders open until April, during which special discounts will be available. For example, U.S. customers can use the code "TIME1010" to receive a $30 discount, and students can enjoy an additional 10% off. The official retail price of the OnePlus Watch 3 is set at $329.99.
