The State Tourism Agency has migrated its IT systems to the "Government Cloud"

The implementation of the Decree No. 718 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the establishment of the “Government Cloud” (G-cloud) and measures in the field of providing “cloud” services” continues.
Within the framework of the implementation of the Decree, another state institution - the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan - has transferred its information systems to the “Government Cloud”. The main digital resources of the agency have been placed in the Baku Data Center owned by “AzInTelecom” LLC, one of the AZCON Holding companies. “AzInTelecom” has provided the State Tourism Agency with “Virtual server – IaaS” (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) and “Backup – BaaS” (Backup-as-a-Service) “cloud” services. Thus, the institution has obtained a more stable and accessible IT infrastructure for its critical systems.
Within the framework of the “Government Cloud” project, state institutions are fully or partially migrating their IT systems to the Baku Main and Yevlakh Backup Data Centers owned by “AzInTelecom”. As a result, the current IT expenses of the institutions decreases, the productivity of information systems increases. Improved information security, stable IT infrastructure, quality service provision and 24/7 monitoring service are achieved.
“AzInTelecom” LLC is the first organization in the South Caucasus region to obtain the “TIER III” certificate, which sets international standards for “cloud” services.
