Founded in 2017 by İlker Ilıcalı, Good Job Games is a rapidly growing Turkish startup that has established its position in the mobile gaming sector. The company primarily develops easy-to-play and entertaining games in the hyper-casual and casual genres.
Currently, the startup's portfolio includes more than 30 games, which have been downloaded over 100 million times worldwide. This demonstrates the startup's success on a global scale.
Recently, the company launched a new Match-3 game called Match Villains. The Match-3 genre is one of the largest categories in mobile gaming. Good Job Games CEO İlker Ilıcalı stated that the best game in this genre has yet to be made, and their goal is to fill this gap with Match Villains.
In June 2025, the company raised $60 million in a Series A investment round led by existing investors Menlo Ventures and Anthos Capital. Bessemer Venture Partners also participated in the round. It is worth noting that in February, Menlo Ventures had invested $100 million in the company.
Additionally, in 2023, Good Job Games sold some of its games to other companies. For example, its hyper-casual game portfolio was transferred to Al Games FZ, a subsidiary of Azur Games, while the game Zen Match was sold to the Israeli company Moon Active for an estimated amount between $100 and $150 million.
These investments and achievements provide Good Job Games with expanded opportunities to grow further in the mobile gaming market and reach users with new games.
