The 49th World Finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) will be held in Baku for the first time. Recognized as one of the most prestigious programming competitions worldwide, the event is organized by the ICPC Foundation and hosted by ADA University, in partnership with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, the ICPC Azerbaijan community, and Azercosmos.
From August 31 to September 5, 2025, the ICPC World Finals in Baku will feature teams from ADA University and Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) representing Azerbaijan.
The competition will bring together the strongest teams from leading universities across different countries. Annually, more than 50,000 top student programmers from over 3,500 universities in 110+ countries participate in ICPC’s official stages. The World Finals will feature teams from over 50 countries, representing approximately 140 universities, with each team consisting of three students.
A total of 18 teams from the Eurasia region will compete in the World Finals.
