Uber has launched a new special service in Tokyo, Japan called “Uber Drift.” The experience, part of the company’s “Go Anywhere” series, will allow tourists to experience Japan’s famous underground drift culture up close.
The program includes a transfer from a Tokyo hotel with Uber Black, a trip to the Mobara Twin Circuit, and a tandem drift session with professional Formula Drift drivers. Participants will experience drifting at speeds of up to 100 km/h in legendary Japanese cars such as the Nissan Silvia S15 and Nissan 180SX.
The project is offered in limited numbers — only 4 groups will be accepted per day. Reservations will open on May 27 through the Uber app.
