WhatsApp is working on a message scheduling feature. WABetaInfo reported this.
According to the publication, the feature was discovered in the latest beta version of the application for iOS. After the launch of the innovation, users will be able to schedule messages in chats for a specific date and time.
According to the information, scheduled messages will be stored in a separate section and can be deleted at any time before sending. In this case, no notification will be sent to the other party.
It is noted that the feature will work in both individual and group chats. Currently, work on the innovation is ongoing and will be available to beta testers in the first stage. It has not yet been announced when the feature will be available to general users.
Recall that in February 2025, a similar feature was launched on the Instagram platform. This feature has been available in the Telegram application since 2019, and in iMessage since 2024.
