Apple's new iOS 17 update is causing WiFi issues for some users. Users who have updated are reporting that their Wi-Fi connection is either disconnected or very slow. The device stays connected to the WiFi network but does not transmit any data as if the internet connection is lost. One user claims that setting the Wi-Fi channel range to 20 MHz, 40 MHz, or 80 MHz solved the problems. Another user reports that turning airplane mode on and off again on the iPhone fixes the problem.
It is not yet clear if this problem is a common condition especially seen in iPhone XS and above models. However, it is known that some users are facing this problem and are sharing about it in various forums. Apple has not yet made an official statement about this problem.
