Yandex has introduced an artificial intelligence voice recorder for the business segment. The device is scheduled to go on sale in the first half of 2026.
The new device is equipped with the Alisa Pro assistant and performs functions such as recording meetings, lectures and appointments, automatically decoding text and highlighting key points. Users will be able to carry the voice recorder, for example, on a badge.
For data security, the voice recorder will be protected by hardware-level encryption, and the encryption key will be stored on the user’s smartphone. According to the company, the device’s battery will allow for up to 80 hours of continuous voice recording.
The voice recorder’s body is the size of a plastic card and is made of aluminum. On the back is a button to start and stop recording, and on the side is an additional button to mark important moments and give commands to the artificial intelligence assistant.
The new device will be manufactured by Yandex Fabrika. The company has not yet shared information about the price and other technical details of the device.
Yandex has also announced a series of wearable devices powered by its AI-powered Alisa AI, due in October 2025. The first devices include headphones — through which users will be able to voice-record their thoughts, make plans with the AI assistant, book tables, or sign up for services.
Sources say the company is also considering the production of “smart” watches, bracelets, and rings in the future.
