On December 8, the last training session and closing ceremony was held within the framework of the "Angel Investor School" organized by the "Technovate-SABAH Angel Investors Club".
Farid Ismayilzadeh, the founder of "Angel Investor School", delivered his opening speech and emphasized that the creation of this School and the activity of the mentioned Club will play a big role in the development of the startup ecosystem in Azerbaijan. Later, he made a presentation on the topic "Current state of Azerbaijan's ecosystem" and brought to the attention of the participants of the event detailed information about the recent works of Azerbaijan in this field, the current situation and a number of successes achieved.
Later, the Chairman of Innovation and Digital Development Agency Inara Valiyeva, who spoke at the event, touched on important points about the steps taken in the fields of start-up, investment and innovation in recent times, and the successes achieved at the national, regional and global level, and the steps to be taken in accordance with the requirements of the time in this area and the relevant emphasized the important points regarding the implementation of works. At the same time, Ms. Inara noted that the founding of the "Technovate-SABAH Angel Investors Club" and the current activities of the Club will greatly contribute to the work done in this direction.
At the same time, at the event, 4 local startups in different fields (Tredu, Movement App, Adlet, Eventeam) made presentations about their business ideas in front of 109 people registered to the "Angel Investor School" and other guests.
After that, a panel discussion on "The Importance of Angel Investment" was held, chaired by Rahim Bayramli, CEO of SABAH.hub, Mammad Karim, head of the Caucasus Ventures venture fund, and Geray Yusifov, founder of Spatium, and moderated by Agahuseyn Ahmadov, representative of Innovation and Digital Development Agency. was held.
In the end, certificates were presented to 109 participants who successfully completed the training sessions held within the "Angel Investor School".
