According to data from August 2025, ChatGPT remains the leader in Azerbaijan's artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot market, although its market share is gradually declining. Its overall market share stood at 94.58%, a 1.52% decrease compared to July. Among computer users, ChatGPT’s share was 93.99%, marking the fourth consecutive month of decline.
This decrease is linked to the entry of new competitors into the market. Microsoft Copilot increased its market share by 1.13%, reaching 2.75%. Other competitors include Perplexity at 1.28% and Google Gemini at 1.09%. These figures indicate growing interest among users in various AI chatbots and show that the market is becoming increasingly competitive.
