Turkish startup "Reprai" raises $500K from Simya VC

The Turkish startup Reprai is a platform that streamlines the sales and marketing operations of pharmaceutical companies using artificial intelligence. To expand its operations, the startup has secured $500,000 in investment from Simya VC, a venture capital fund managed by Turkey’s established fund 212.

Reprai was founded by Didem Aral and Özhan Öztürk. Their platform helps pharmaceutical companies improve interactions with doctors by enabling personalized engagement and guiding how to reach each healthcare professional more effectively.

The main goal of Reprai is to establish a presence in major markets such as the U.S. and Europe. With the new investment, the startup plans to expand its team, acquire more clients, and further develop its technology.

CEO Didem Aral stated that they aim to bring AI-driven innovation to the marketing processes of the pharmaceutical industry. According to her, this investment will help Reprai become a strong player in the global market.

Selma Bahçıvanoğlu from Simya VC added that Reprai fills a significant gap in a still largely digitalizing market. For instance, in the U.S., an average doctor-representative meeting costs around $500, whereas Reprai can reduce this cost to under $20, offering substantial efficiency and cost advantages.
