Microsoft has officially announced a new feature added to the Windows 11 operating system: a AI-powered assistant that can automatically adjust system settings based on the user's voice or written commands.
This new feature will be available only on computers with Copilot+ support and will be directly integrated into the "Settings" app. When a user, for example, gives commands like "How can I enable dark mode?" or "Make the cursor bigger," the system will not only show the relevant section but will also change the setting automatically, after obtaining user permission.
One of the assistant’s main advantages is its natural language understanding capabilities. It can be activated via the search bar located at the top of the "Settings" window, eliminating any need for users to adapt to a new interface. The traditional manual method of changing settings will still remain fully available.
This innovation aims to simplify navigation for new users of technology, while making routine technical tasks quicker and more convenient for experienced users. Microsoft’s move is a significant step towards making operating systems more intuitive and user-friendly.
