Alibaba to invest 52 billion dollars in artificial intelligence

Alibaba plans to invest 52 billion dollars in artificial intelligence and cloud computing over the next three years to increase its investments in these fields. This investment exceeds the total amount the company has invested in AI and cloud computing in the last decade. The move positions Alibaba as a leader in the AI market in China, attracting the attention of investors. The company's shares have risen by more than 68% this year.

Alibaba's CEO, Eddie Wu, has described artificial intelligence as "an industrial revolution opportunity that comes once in a decade," and stated that the company will invest more in this field.

Additionally, other Chinese technology companies such as Microsoft and Tencent are also making significant investments in AI. For instance, ByteDance plans to allocate 150 billion yuan to AI for this year.

This investment plan aims to solidify Alibaba's leadership in the artificial intelligence sector and enhance its competitiveness in the global market.
