Alibaba has officially introduced its AI-powered “Quark AI Glasses” and announced their pricing. The company first unveiled the device in summer 2025 and stated that pre-orders will begin on the Tmall e-commerce platform starting October 24, 2025.
The glasses are priced at 4,699 Chinese yuan (approximately USD 660), with an initial discounted pre-order price of 3,999 yuan (around USD 561). Shipments to customers are expected to start in December 2025.
The Quark AI Glasses operate using Alibaba’s Qwen language model and Quark AI assistant. They support calls, real-time translation, music playback, meeting transcription, and feature a built-in camera. Experts note that Alibaba’s device is positioned as a competitor to Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses and Xiaomi’s similar product announced in June 2025.
