Aztelekom LLC has announced that, starting from December 1, 2025, the 153 medical information and pharmacy search service will be discontinued. The company explained that the decision was due to the service losing its relevance. It was noted that with the development of online platforms and internet resources for pharmacies, citizens can now access the necessary information more conveniently through digital channels, reducing the need for phone inquiries.
In addition, the company will also discontinue its LTE wireless service from the same date. Subscribers will instead be fully transitioned to the more modern GPON (fiber-optic) technology.
The transition process has been simplified to ensure current LTE users can switch to the new network smoothly, and expert support will be provided to them individually. Subscribers with questions can contact the 24-hour call center at 170 or visit their local branch.
