The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) donated equipment to the Innovation Center of the Azerbaijan University of Technology within the framework of the "Technest" project.
In the presentation of 3D printer, projector, computers and other equipment, associate professor Yashar Omarov, acting rector of AMU, vice-rector for educational affairs Ragif Huseynov, director of the Innovation Center Shamo Salayev, department head of Innovation and Digital Development Agency Orkhan Ismayilov, project manager Gulnar Mirhuseynova, chief specialist Pusta Gasimova and students participated.
During the presentation, Yashar Omarov stated that equipping the Innovation Center with the latest technologies will be a new incentive for students and expressed his gratitude to the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and its management.
Within the framework of the presentation, the agency representatives got acquainted with the start-up projects of ATU students.
The purpose of the donation is to support the development of the startup ecosystem at the university, to help students gain practical skills and abilities in ICT training, and to transform the acquired knowledge into new ideas and startups.
It should be noted that the Innovation Center has about 500 members of AMU students, currently students are working on 10 active startups.
