Microsoft explained that the issues raised by the IRS concern only 2004-2013, since then it has changed its corporate structure and practices. Nevertheless, the IRS believes that Microsoft owes $ 28,9 billion in taxes. The tech giant does not agree as expected and said that the new tax laws could reduce the taxes it owes from this particular audit by $ 10 billion.
