The director of "Baku Carsharing Company" LLC, entrepreneur Ahmet Ibrahimov has created a new software for renting cars. According to "vergiler.az", the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMB) issued a "Startup" certificate to "Baku Carsharing Company" LLC for this project. The project allows electric cars to be rented by the minute and by the hour via a mobile application.
According to A.Ibrahimov, "Kite" mobile application innovates urban mobility by offering a convenient, sustainable and affordable solution to increase users' interest in electric vehicles. As a result, people only use their cars when they need to, contributing to less congestion and more efficient parking arrangements. The director of MMC said that investors are already showing great interest in the project, which is expected to start operating in the first months of next year: "Currently, there are several individuals who want to invest in the project, but at this stage, we plan to carry out all the processes at our own expense. We intend to work with investors to grow and become global in the future."
The startup noted that one of the biggest benefits they will enjoy after starting their business in the near future will be the exemption from income tax: the "Startup" certificate provides a number of advantages to startups. Thanks to this, special attention and care are given to the persons who have that certificate by other institutions. For example, because we are a start-up, AzInTelekom, which is under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, gave us certain concessions in tariffs and provided exclusive services. Currently, we are trying to cooperate with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the essence of our request is to measure the driving experience of the users of our application in order to ensure safety on the roads, as well as to implement virtual integration into the driver's license database of the State Traffic Police.
