AI-based service Higgsfield has raised $80 million in investment at a valuation of $1.3 billion. Accel, GFT Ventures and Menlo Ventures participated in the extension A round, Reuters reported, citing the company.
The funds raised will be used to develop corporate sales, international expansion, research and development, as well as to grow the team. The startup plans to increase the number of employees from the current approximately 70 to 300 by the end of 2026.
Higgsfield AI was founded in 2023 by Alexander Mashrabov, a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Technology, who previously worked in the Yandex search team, and Erzat Dulat, an AI researcher from Kazakhstan. The platform allows you to create videos and trending visuals with artificial intelligence effects.
