Ozone started operating in Azerbaijan. Customers can now shop over 30 million products in the marketplace, from electronics to beauty and health products. Users will be able to pick up their purchases at partner delivery points.
The press service noted that the range of goods available for order in Azerbaijan will be expanded more than 10 times in the near future. In addition, Ozon plans to develop logistics infrastructure in the country - warehouse complexes, its own delivery service and a network of branded points for receiving and issuing orders within the framework of franchising.
In the future, the company also plans to attract local entrepreneurs to sell on the platform and implement the flow of goods from Azerbaijan to Russia and other CIS countries.
Alexey Sapon, Director of Operations and Development in the CIS of the Ozone company, noted that Azerbaijan is among the most dynamically developing countries in terms of the growth rates of e-commerce. "We are sure that our market will become a platform for the development of local entrepreneurs in the future," said Sapon, quoting the company.
Ozon has been developing business in the CIS since 2021. Currently, the online retailer already has business and logistics infrastructure in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
