On February 11, a meeting dedicated to the unified action plan “Azerbaijan’s New Digital Architecture” was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Speaking at the meeting, the head of state emphasized the importance of identifying responsible persons in state institutions for a more systematic and efficient organization of work in the field of digitalization.
President Ilham Aliyev said: “In order to organize work in this matter more efficiently, I believe that in each state institution, first of all, a deputy for digitalization, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity should be allocated in the ministries, or a new staff unit should be created, or this area should be assigned to one of the existing deputies so that the employees and management of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport know who they will be in contact with, and this area should be considered a priority in each state institution.”
The head of state noted that this approach will strengthen coordination between state agencies, accelerate the digital transformation process, and contribute to the formation of a unified management mechanism in the field of cybersecurity.
Relevant tasks were given to the relevant agencies at the meeting.
