"Nvidia" intends to build a semiconductor production center in Vietnam. The country's government released information on this, referring to the words of Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia.
Mr. Huang himself noted that Nvidia has already invested $250 million in Vietnam and is currently discussing the details of cooperation with the country's technology companies and authorities.
Nvidia is actively increasing its chip production in the Asian region and is trying to diversify its supply chains. So, last week, the company announced its intention to create a network of factories for the production of chips for artificial intelligence in Japan. Nvidia GPUs, which process large amounts of data and perform parallel calculations, are used for artificial intelligence. Nvidia's third-quarter revenue grew 206% year-over-year, driven by demand for artificial intelligence chips.
