Rumors about Samsung’s revolutionary smartphone with a three-way folding display have resurfaced. According to a report by The Chosun, the long-delayed device is finally expected to be unveiled on December 5. However, getting one won’t be easy — the model, reportedly named Galaxy Z TriFold, will be produced in only 30,000 units and sold exclusively in selected markets, including South Korea, China, the U.S., and the UAE. Its price is projected to be around $3,000.
Renowned tech insider Evan Blass has revealed some key specifications of the upcoming device. The phone will feature a 6.5-inch external screen and an unfolded 10-inch internal display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Powered by a Snapdragon processor, the model is said to include a 200 MP main camera and a 5,437 mAh battery. Depending on its folding position, the device’s thickness will reportedly vary between 3.9 mm and 4.2 mm.
