South Korean frozen food brand bibigo has introduced a new product called Scroll Sticks. These are chopsticks with tips that are compatible with touch screens.
The idea is that one end of the stick can be used to pick up food, while the other end can be used to scroll short videos on the smartphone screen - for example, TikTok or YouTube Shorts. This way, the user can eat and watch the video at the same time.
The tips of the product are removable. This means that the sticks can be washed both by hand and in the dishwasher.
The company says that Scroll Sticks are released in limited quantities. The main goal of the project is not commercial profit. Rather, it is presented as a satirical approach to modern lifestyles, that is, a reference to the fact that people spend almost every meal in front of their smartphones.
