Apple is developing a special battery design to increase battery life. This new design aims to improve battery module performance by using alternative cathode materials.
This new battery initiative from Apple aims to shorten charging times by increasing battery capacity by using more silicon content. But given that the silicon material can cause expansion problems, Apple is said to be working to solve this problem.
It may take a long time to integrate this battery design into real products. According to the report, the new Apple batteries are expected to be used in consumer products by 2025 or later. It is also recalled that Apple has committed to using recycled materials by 2025 as part of its environmental commitment.
