The "flying sports car" called Switchblade has completed its first flight

Samson Sky's Switchblade flying car has made its first test flight in Washington. The vehicle named "Flying Sports Car" took off at the Grant Country International Airport and made a successful flight. The one-person car rose to a height of 160 meters, stayed in the air for 6 minutes and landed safely.

Samson Sky CEO Sam Bousfield said that the company has met with great interest and demand for this development and they are already working to produce thousands of cars. Pilot Robert Moehle, who conducted vehicle tests, emphasized that the car's handling was excellent. The Switchblade was cleared by the FAA a year ago and technically stands as a three-wheeled motorcycle that can fly. The car can go into flight mode in less than three minutes with the push of a button. Switchblade can reach speeds of up to 305 kilometers in the air and its flight range exceeds 800 kilometers. The selling price of the car, which currently has 2300 orders, is set at 170,000 dollars.
