The artificial intelligence startup Figure AI, which develops multifunctional humanoid robots, has raised $1 billion in a Series C funding round led by Parkway Venture Capital. This investment brings the startup’s valuation to $39 billion.
The funding round also saw participation from major companies including Nvidia, Macquarie Capital, Intel Capital, Align Ventures, Tamarack Global, LG Technology Ventures, Salesforce, T-Mobile Ventures, and Qualcomm Ventures.
Figure AI plans to deploy these robots across a wide range of applications, from household chores to commercial operations, with the goal of making them an integral part of daily human life.
The U.S.-based startup intends to use the new investment in three main areas:
- Expansion: Increasing the use of humanoid robots in homes and commercial operations.
- Accelerated Training: Leveraging Nvidia’s GPU infrastructure to speed up training of its AI system, Helix.
- Productivity: Enhancing the efficiency and productivity of the robots.

The startup also announced plans to expand its BotQ manufacturing facilities, further solidifying Figure AI’s position in the robotics technology market.
