Karabakh Revival Foundation migrates IT systems to the "Government Cloud"

The implementation of the Decree No. 718 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the establishment of the “Government Cloud” (G-cloud) and measures in the field of providing “cloud” services” continues.
The Karabakh Revival Fund has also joined the ranks of state institutions that have transferred their information systems and resources to the “Government Cloud” within the framework of the implementation of the Decree.
The main digital resources of the Fund have been placed in the Baku Data Center owned by “AzInTelecom” LLC, one of the AZCON Holding companies. “AzInTelecom” has provided the Karabakh Revival Fund with “Virtual server – IaaS” (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) and “Backup – BaaS” (Backup-as-a-Service) “cloud” services. Thus, the institution has achieved high availability of critical systems.
It should be noted that within the framework of the “Government Cloud” project, full or partial migration of IT systems of state institutions to the Baku Main and Yevlakh Backup Data Centers owned by “AzInTelecom” is being carried out. As a result of the migration, the current IT costs are reduced, the productivity of information systems is increased. Thus, improved information security, stable IT infrastructure, quality service provision and 24/7 monitoring service are achieved.
“AzInTelecom” LLC is the first organization in the South Caucasus region to obtain the “TIER III” certificate, which sets international standards for “cloud” services.
